Restore your classic truck with Tuckers’ 1955-1959 Chevrolet or GMC Truck Complete Cab Assembly, professionally assembled in the USA and built to factory specifications or better. Designed for 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, and 1959 Chevrolet and GMC pickup trucks, this reproduction cab helps eliminate hundreds of hours of rust repair, panel replacement, and door alignment.

Each complete cab includes door shells, hinges, and professionally pre-hung doors that are gapped to factory specifications (or better) for an easier installation. Manufactured from heavy-gauge steel to closely match the strength and appearance of the original GM cab, it's an excellent foundation for restorations, custom builds, and restomods.

Customize your cab with available options including your preferred firewall configuration, back window size, fuel filler location, and premium upgrades like Altman Easy Latch door latches.

GMC Cab Option

We are pleased to offer a GMC cab option! Please note that GMC dashes are not reproduced. If you would like to purchase a GMC cab, you will need to provide the GMC dash. You would be responsible to obtain and ship the dash to us for sandblasting and installation. All other parts that are used on these reproduction cabs are brand new sheet metal, this is the only occurrence where a used part would be installed. Please call us with any questions or to discuss this option.

EDP Coating & Transport Primer Notice

All cab panels are manufactured with an EDP (Electro-Deposit Primer) coating for corrosion protection during manufacturing. Once assembled, each cab receives a primer finish for transportation and handling protection.

This finish is intended only as a transport coating and is not a final paint-ready surface. Before bodywork, primer surfacer, or finish paint is applied, your body shop should remove or properly prepare the transport primer according to their preferred refinishing process. Surface preparation procedures vary by paint manufacturer and body shop, and proper preparation is the responsibility of the installer before finishing.
